Bom-Bastic Choir
What better way to experience the joy of singing than by joining the Bom-Bastic Choir? Every Friday from 18:15 to 20:15, members gather to create beautiful harmonies while learning vocal technique. This is an all-level choir, meant for anyone that enjoys singing. Knowing how to play an instrument is not required. The primary goal here is not just to sing but to have fun, make like-minded friends, and learn the art of singing as a cohesive group. Collaboration is also an essential quality, fostering a welcoming and optimal learning environment. Come to one of our free trial sessions on Fridays 🙂
Bom-B Band
For those who aspire to explore music at a deeper level, the Bom-B Band is your place. Unlike traditional cover bands, this new ensemble offers a program that empowers musicians to take control of their own projects. Together, we work on the fundamentals of music theory, understanding why music affects us the way it does. Making arrangements and composing unique songs is also an essential part of this program. Imagine transforming existing songs into your preferred style or crafting your original music! The goal of this project is to culminate in performing in front of an audience several times throughout the year. Join us every Tuesday from 20:00 until 22:00.
Individual music lessons
If you’re looking to sharpen your musical skills and develop your technique, you can find a diverse offer of musical instruments at Bom-B Music. Brass instruments such as trombone, euphonium, or trumpet, refined string instruments such as the cello, or very popular instruments like the piano or the guitar. We always say that knowing how to play a polyphonic instrument like the guitar or piano opens up a lot of possibilities. You can have a more harmony-centered vision of music, play several voices or lines at the same time, or even accompany yourself singing. Without a doubt, taking out the guitar or sitting at the piano to sing your favorite tunes at a gathering of friends is one of the coolest things you can do. We still have slots available for music lessons, especially piano and guitar. Don’t be left wanting to take a trial lesson!
Other special activities
In addition to these new ensembles and our individual music lessons, this school year we are going to organize different interesting events and workshops for all types of audiences. In the end, our goal is to grow an artistic community in Utrecht! Towards the end of the year, we are going to host 2 special events. Check our agenda for detailed information.
