As the leaves change and that crisp autumn vibe settles in, we’re beyond pumped to kick off another amazing year at Bom-B Music in Utrecht! We’ve got a ton of fresh and exciting stuff lined up—new group lessons, awesome new teachers, DUO instrumental lessons, and even a revamped website to keep you in the loop and inspired. New Group Lessons & Programs—Let’s Make Music Together!

We’ve always believed that music is better when shared, so we’re rolling out some super cool group activities for all ages and skill levels. Check out what’s new:

– 🎤 Bom-B Choir: Ever wanted to belt it out with a group? Now’s your chance! Our community choir meets every Wednesday evening, and it’s open to everyone—no experience needed. Come join the fun and let your voice be heard!

– 🎶 Creativity Lab for Kids: Got kiddos aged 5-10 who love making noise? Every Thursday, we’re hosting a lab where they can explore sounds and create music through play and teamwork. It’s the perfect playground for budding musicians.

– 🎧 Music Production Lab: For the tech-savvy teens and adults (14 y/o and up) itching to drop some beats, our bi-weekly Tuesday sessions will guide you from idea to fully produced track. We’ll be using the latest gear to help you craft your sound.

– 📚 Music Theory Essentials: Want to get a grip on the nuts and bolts of music? Join us every Thursday evening to boost your music theory skills and gain confidence for live performances.

👯‍♀️ DUO Instrumental Lessons—Double the Fun!

Guess what? We’re now offering DUO instrumental lessons! Bring a friend, sibling, or make a new buddy in class—learning together makes the journey even more enjoyable. Whether you’re both starting from scratch or looking to jam together at a higher level, our DUO lessons are tailored to help you both grow and have a blast. It’s perfect for:

– Piano or Cello Pairs: Tackle those keys and bows side by side.
– Cello or Brass with Piano Duos: Trumpet, cello, or any other mix—enjoy the perfect blend of sounds.
– Brass Buddies: Trumpet duets, anyone?

Our skilled instructors will customize the lessons to fit both of your needs, ensuring you both get the most out of each session.

– Tom: Meet Tom, our brilliant band teacher! He’s rocked stages far and wide and is eager to share his love for music with you. Whether you’re into rock, pop, or jazz, Tom will help you master your instrument and groove seamlessly with your bandmates.

  • 🎉 Student Concerts on Fridays!
    Mark your calendars, folks! We’re hosting student concerts on Fridays at 18:00h. It’s your time to shine on stage, share your music, and support your fellow students. Here are the dates to look forward to:

    • 11th October 2024
    • 22nd November 2024
    • 13th December 2024 (Christmas theme – let’s get festive!)
    • 14th February 2025 (Valentine’s theme – love is in the air!)
    • 11th April 2025

  • 🎸 Thursday Night Jamming Collective
    Every Thursday evening at 20:00h, join our jamming collective! Whether you’re into jazz, rock, pop, or anything in between, bring your instrument (or just yourself) and let’s make some music together. It’s a laid-back setting to improvise, collaborate, and have a great time. guest teachers will be joining and leading the jams regularly.

  • 🤝 Workshops & Collaborations
    We’re cooking up some awesome workshops for you! Stay tuned—we’ll be publishing specific dates and details on our website and socials as we organize them. From songwriting sessions to mastering your stage presence, we’ve got plenty in store.
