A choir for all levels, meant for students, parents, and anyone eager to explore singing as a creative pursuit without the demands of learning an instrument.

Participation in weekly rehearsals led by our experienced director (19 sessions per term), we follow school calendar and vacations.

Steps to Become a Member

1. Fill out the enrollment form. Please select Choir under the instrument category in the booking form.

2. Attend your first free trial session.

3. If you enjoy it, confirm your enrollment by joining the choir’s WhatsApp group and making your payment.

4. Once these steps are complete, you’re officially a choir member!

At the Bom-B Choir, each session begins with yoga-inspired warm-ups and breathing exercises designed to prepare our voices, body, and mind. By establishing a relaxed and focused state, we can fully engage with the music and each other. As we explore a variety of musical styles and genres, we learn to appreciate their unique characteristics and immerse ourselves in the sounds, texts, and colors that music offers. Our choir values teamwork, empathy, and solidarity, all within a supportive and safe environment.

Our focus includes voice technique, music reading, tuning, text interpretation, repertoire development, and achieving balance among vocal sections. We welcome anyone who loves to sing, regardless of musical background—no prior training required, just a passion for singing and music!

Every year, we present a minimum of two performances—one in winter and one in summer—featuring repertoire from Europe, Latin America, North America, and beyond. With an open and curious approach, we continuously align our efforts with the interests and aspirations of our choir members.

Rehearsal Schedule and Location

Director: Paul Kemp
Rehearsal location: Oudegracht aan de Werf 56
Schedule: Wednesdays 19.30h - 21.30h. Follows school calendar, including holidays. Two terms: September-January and February-June
Level and language: All-levels welcome! Rehearsals are conducted in English
Price: FREE trial session. Full semester €200. Mid-semester start or changes: tuition is pro-rated for the remaining lesson weeks + €25 one-time admin fee.
