Meet Paul, an internationally experienced choral director based in Utrecht
Paul Kemp brings over 20 years of experience as a choral director in diverse educational and professional environments around the world, from Shanghai to Dubai. Holding a Master of Music Education from the University of Victoria, Paul excels in creating innovative and inclusive choral programs that foster community spirit and musical growth. He has directed choirs at notable venues such as Dubai Opera and led ensembles in cultural and educational institutions globally.

A diverse career in music and education
Paul has led community, church, and school choirs across five countries, combining formal training with hands-on experience to bring out the best in every singer. His extensive education includes conducting courses from institutions like McGill University and The King’s University. Beyond choir conducting, Paul is also an accomplished pianist, and composer, proficient in digital music production, and brings a cross-cultural perspective to all his music projects.
