Our Music Initiation lessons for kids offer the perfect start to a lifelong journey with music. Designed for children between 4 and 9 years old, these playful group lessons combine singing, rhythm, movement, and real instruments to build a strong musical foundation. Through engaging activities, kids not only develop essential skills like pulse, pitch, and notation, but also learn teamwork, confidence, and creativity.
👉 Families can book a trial lesson session for 25€ to experience the class before enrolling for the full semester.

🕵️♀️ Level 1 (4-6 y.o): EXPLORERS
Saturdays 10:30h – 11:15h
A joyful group class where young children discover music through singing, movement, and rhythm games. Each session invites them to explore sound using percussion instruments like shakers, rhythm sticks, Boomwhackers and xylophones.
Children will:
- Move and sing to develop pulse, pitch, and rhythm
- Explore musical opposites like fast/slow and loud/soft
- Play simple instruments as a group
- Learn to listen, take turns, and express themselves in a safe, social setting
This is where musical confidence begins — through fun, creativity and play.
🧙 Level 2 (7-9 y.o): WIZARDS
Saturdays 11:15h – 12:00h
The next step for children ready to dive deeper and start understanding how music works. In this class, kids begin learning how to read and play music using their own take-home xylophone, while continuing to move, sing and play in a group setting.
Children will:
- Strengthen their sense of rhythm with body percussion and movement
- Learn music notation through engaging games
- Apply reading skills to real songs on the xylophone
- Play together in small group ensembles
- Build confidence through creative challenges and teamwork
By the end of the course, students are ready to choose an instrument and continue their musical journey at Bom-B Music.
